1. A leader that inspires greatness is Martin Luther King Jr. When he was alive, Dr.King spoke for the colored people. Back in the day there was a lot of segregation. So, colored and whites did not mix at all. They each had their own water fountains, schools, parks, restaurants, etc. It was very unfair especially for the colored because the whites always had the better things when it came to education, food, houses, etc. Dr.King and other leaders spoke out for them. Many were afraid of speaking out, but Dr.King did not care of the consequences. He fought for what he knew was right until his death.
ReplyDeletePeople are inspired because they see that if someone was willing to and did die because of their personal beliefs, then they can too. Fighting for your beliefs can be dangerous but the impact that is made is worth it. I have been greatly inspired by Dr.King. He inspires me to do what I believe is right. If people are being treated unfairly then I should do as much as I can to fight for the right thing.
2. Leaders can do a lot to inspire others. One thing they can do is lead by doing. If the leader is fighting for something that others also want to fight for then others will do what they can do to help. Leaders can also just do what they believe in. Even if they don't have support in the beginning, they can gain support by spreading awareness. Leaders also can just stand up for what they believe in. The inspiration might not spread instantly, but years later someone might read or hear what that person did and be inspired.
3. My first act of business would be making it a law that men and women have equal pay.Women earn less than men for the same work. I find this very offensive. Just because the women are women does not mean anything, they deserve to get payed the same if they are doing the same work. And I would also make sure that men can get payed leave after their child is born or even adopted. This is because the men also deserve to be with their children in the beginning of their lives
4. I don't think the best candidates run for public office. One reason could be because of fear. many people do not do what they want to do because of fear. Running for office could be scary for just a person. They might be afraid of judgement and/or failure.
5. Poverty can have a negative effect of a person's potential to succeed because they don't think they are as important as the more wealthy. But the thing that truly gets in the way of their success is their mentality. If they believe they can do it, and they keep trying, then there is no stopping them.
1.the leader i choose is Harriet Tubman. i choose her as my leader because she got away from slavery. and she didn't just save didn't herself ,and once she found a good place to hide out at she ran back and saved more people. other people may be inspired by her because she was a great leader by helping other. and my grandma used to tell me that when god gives my good knowledge its meant for me to share not to keep to myself. ive been inspired by many great leaders like my grandmother.

Meaning what you try to do behind someone back they will find out about it at any moment. like my sister would always steal and think she would never get caught by my nana but one day my nana did find out and called the police on her and she did go to juvenile hall.

3. If I was elected president I would do a lot of orders to help other people. But, my first order of business would be to stop police brutality. I would stop I because people are getting hurt or getting killed because of their skin color or how they look. So, I what them to stop them from hurting people. 4. I think we don't have the best candidates running for public office. I think this because Trump was being rude and interrupting Clinton a lot. But, Clinton also didn't the right thing because she had a mic telling her what to say. So, I think we don't have the best candidates.
5. In my opinion poverty effects people in some ways. It effects them because people with more money usually gets chosen over people in poverty even though they have better grades. So, what I'm trying to say people chose wealthy people over people in poverty. This is why I think poverty does have an effect on a person's potential to succeed in school or life.
MY parents and my grandparents because they are also foster parents and they've always made us and them feel like we matter . They see things in us that no one else does . They always tell us that we can do anything we can be anything as long as we put our minds to it. Most importantly they believe in us they unlike a lot of other people listen to our dreams.
ReplyDeleteLeaders can encourage others to get the most out of their lives by telling them that they can do it. They can listen to our dreams and tell us the best way to make them come true. I'm a musician a passionate one and honestly I would've given up a long time ago if no one believed in me.
I would pass a foster care reform because there are more deaths in the foster care system and kids get raped and abused and are forced to sell their bodies and they'll place kids with whoever will take them and these homes aren't safe and I want to stop that.
These candidates are not the best they were rude to each other arguing with each other instead of answering the questions and neither of them told the people how they plan to change America for the better.
Some people think because the have nothing that they'll be nothing others have a drive to be something every one has that potential few will use it or take advantage of it.
1. A great leader to me is my Michelle Obama. Michelle has inspired women all over the world. She inspires people to have courage and believe in themselves no matter what situation they're in. Michelle believe that women can't be doing all the work as in running errands and raising there children. Women should be able to have time to themselves and take care of themselves . I think women play a big part in life , but yet we still don't get equal amounts as men. These days men get payed more than women , but for what they work the same hours. Single mothers get paid less and yet they have to take care of there children. Now here many women didn't come from a rich family.

1. A great leader that I know inspires greatness and shows an example of great leadership is my teacher Mr. Nunley. He inspires and motivates people that they can do it in life and he pushes us to the limits. He encourages us to move forward and worry about our own business not others. People are inspired by him because he shows us the important things in life we need to see to feel truly motivated in life. Some of those things are courage, generosity, integrity, authenticity and patience. There are many more qualities but these are the main qualities he shows. 3. If I was elected president my first order of business would to set equality straight. All over the world everyone is treated differently just because of our skin color, and appearance. We are all still human and should be treated equally. I would also end slavery once and for all. I would end the word too. Around the world many still use slavery and that is not right at all. The 13th amendment states "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime." That is highly unnecessary. There are many punishments in this world other than slavery. It is not fair to those who are treated as slaves. That would be my first order of business if I was elected president.
4. In my opinion, I believe the best candidates would run for public office because they are ready to take that huge responsibility and run for public. The best candidates will take it seriously and will be a good choice. Some candidates are not ready for that responsibility and just want the attention instead of the actual reason. They wouldn't take it seriously. That is what I believe.
5. Based on my opinion, poverty has nothing to do with you succeeding. Nothing should stop you from succeeding. When you succeed in life, you won't have poverty. Many people in the world started very poorly, but they reached the top with their success. Poverty shouldn't stop you from succeeding. That is what I believe.
1. My brother is my leader. He is a marine and he doesn't want me to end up like the rest of my family. The rest of my family are inspired by him because he made his own choice into going to the marines and because he is making a name for his self. The best time he has inspired me was at one of my games because i wanted to give up because we were losing and he told me not to give up that we can still win.

3. My first order of business if i was elected president would be to end police brutality. I would do that first because police are killing innocent people for no reason. In other countries crooked cops are killed for doing wrong things but in the USA no one is doing a thing about cops killing those people. I believe that is wrong and someone should do something about so that's why that's my first order of business.
4. No I don't think all the best candidates run for office because look at Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the things they are doing. Hillary in the debate on Monday night had ear piece all the things she was saying wasn't all her. Also Donald he isn't a good candidate at all he is being racist and makes bad remarks on Mexicans saying that all of us don't know how to do something.
5. In my opinion poverty has a big affect on a person. I believe that because it's chooses weather or not you have a lot of money.
1) In my opinion, Barack Obama is a great leader. People are inspired by him because he made history by being the first African-American president. He showed us that anything is possible if we put our mind to it and have dedication. Someone who inspires me is my parents because they both wake up early and go to work. 5) Based upon my opinion, poverty shouldn't be the reason that someone doesn't succeed or become great. Their are many people that grew up in poverty but they didn't let it stop them. In conclusion, anybody can do whatever they want, as long as they put their mind to it and act on it.
ReplyDelete1) A great leader to me is my friend Israel because he was a leader to many other kids and he had a lot to say about bullies and his education. When he got diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2013 he didn't let it bother him. All he wanted to do was live life to the fullest and have fun. His leadership inspired more than just me because at school everyone had knew about his tumor and couldn't believe a kid such as nice and sweet like Israel could have it. All the kids decided help him with his issues rather it was at school or at home. Israel having a brain tumor never stopped him from having fun, sometimes when we would be at school playing it would seem like he never had it.
Israel inspired me to do my best because he always had such good grades and he had such a good family till this day treat me like one of their own. Israels inspiration inspired me to have the good grades that i have today because me and him both wanted to be teachers because we had a lot to say and we always felt like we understood the methods of being a teacher. His inspiration feels like a spirit of wind is just flowing through your body because he just so high spirited. Israel till this day is always in many peoples heart just like mine because everyone knew him for a smart and nice person.
2) Leaders to me can encourage others by being interested in their lives and helping them. Also leaders encourage others through their ways like music,speeches, and even books. One thing I have learned from leaders is that someone cant teach you courage. Courage is in you and its always gonna be in you. Leaders encourage others to express there true feelings and to be themselves.
3) As the president my first order of business would be to push the issue on cancer because i lost my best friend to cancer and that makes me wanna help all the other kids that have it because the truth is no families should have to feel that pain. I also would like to have the borders off of mexico because all races should be able to come to this country feeling welcome and able to get a steady job to get them started. Another item i would banish is police brutality because many men and women have suffered to much already I don't want anyone to feel it anymore its a horrible feeling watching a human being hitting a fellow for no apparent reason only because they want to. As president I would make women just as equal as men because if a man makes 35 dollars an hour and a women makes 20 dollars an hour and they work on the same position. It shouldn't be that way it should be a man and woman make 35 dollars an hour.

Also they should run for office because I don't want a person who has no idea or clue of what they are doing. Another reason is if this person is just as equal as I want to be then he/she has my vote.
5) To me poverty has a lot of effect on someone's successful life because while he/she is trying to work on school work they also have to go to work to be able to put food on the table for their loved ones because they are in poverty. Also knowing that your siblings went to sleep on an empty stomach just makes you feel ad because you have to do a lot of work and go to do more work is just to much to handle.
1.Two persons that I consider a letter is my mom and step dad.I consider my mom a leader because growing up me and my brother consider her our mom/dad.We considered my mom both of our parents because my birth father was never there for us.My birth father was never there for us because he was always making stupid decisions with his life that got him locked up.For that reason I thank my mom a lot for raising us as a single mother and for raising us correctly.Shes a big part of my life because she showed me that she didn't need someone to help raise us.The other person I consider a big leader is my step-dad(dad).I consider him a leader in my life because about a year or less he came into our life and took over the dad role-play.I consider him my dad and not my step dad because he always helps me with something I need done.Hes a big part of my life now because since the begin when he came into our life's he told us that "that were going to be okay" and that ,to never say "we didn't have a father because he's here now".He is a leader to me because he always motivates me and says that he'll always be here for me.

ReplyDelete1. one leader that inspires me is Michelle Obama ( the first lady). Michelle Obama has done so much to inspire today's youth. She has done speeches that have great words such as ‘One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals. And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I really don’t invest any energy in them, because I know who I am.’( source from marieclare.co.uk). Michelle Obama was very heavy on education she went and spoke to schools explaining what shes gone through in her life and explaining that with the power she has she planned on using it to better the country. She went to other countries and set up schools for the less fortunate so they're children can be greater than they parents and they will be more schools.

If i was elected president my first order of business would be ending privatized foster home company that make money off of placing foster children in whatever is available and not caring whether its safe or not. Too many children are placed with unfit homes because the company dont care about the kids needs. Too many kids are getting killed and abused just for money.
4. The best candidates are not running for office. the presidential candidates are possibly the worst canidates we have ever had. We have a female cheater who is assumend to care about the people but cant speak on her own and that cheats.
5. Poverty can affect you because you may not have as much access as the other kids in the school systems. It can only affect you if you let it. You make take your failures and make them mold you to your success

ReplyDelete1. One example of a great leader is my mother. I believe she is a great leader for many reasons. First, she did anything she could do to ensure that my sister and i had a good life. Also, whenever she sees someone in need she will always help even if she doesn't have much. And, even if she is tired or sick she makes sure that my sister and i are okay before worrying about herself. In conclusion, i believe my mother is a great leader for many reasons such as how she cares for people more than she cares about herself.

For example, if a man and a woman both work for a store for 3 hours the male would still probably get paid more even though they did the same thing. Also, there are many cases that mothers raise children by themselves and they would need the money to provide for them but they are not considered equal so they wont be paid the same.

1: In my opinion the greatest leader to me is my mom. When she was about 13 or 15 her mom past away and she had to raise her sisters by herself. She had to get a job at a really young age. She inspires me because she raised her sisters, still had time to go to school, and have a job. She is single mother that works and raises 4 children. She inspires me to do the best when its a high stakes thing. Test, games,school, or homework, whatever it is I will try my hardest for her.

5: Poverty brings peoples there self-esteem down because they know whatever you do in life money is always going to affect there future. Money rules the world and people with poverty think that life is over. In my opinion Poverty shouldn't affect people because they can still get jobs and earn money they shouldn't let that affect them.
1. A great leader is Shay Mitchell. She has supported human rights, rape/sexual abuse, slavery, education, and human trafficking. People are inspired by her because of how she helped out the children form Africa and all over the world for children to get the education they need. Without her charity, then those kids would not have their education at this moment. I have been inspired by a leader to do my best when that leader helped me motivate myself to do everything that I can to get through life. If they are creating a huge idea or something simple, then I should be able to do the exact thing without wasting my education and life.

1) My aunt was a great leader. She inspired many people, especially my family. She went to school and always got nothing but A's. She had a rough time living in El Salvador, but she managed to come to the US, learn English, and was the valedictorian for college and high school. She never gave up and always stayed positive. She motivated me to do better and get good grades in school. She was very humble and always willing to help others and make them better. Even though she's gone she will still be my motivation until this day.

1)one example of a great leader to me is my parents. I think that my parents are both good examples of leaders because they had my older brother when she was 16. some people who have kids at a really young age might give the kid to a foster home so they could take of the kid because they don't have the time to. But my parents still took care of my older brother while going to school with some help from my grandma. I think my dad is a leader to because he was working really hard at work while still going to school and also taking care of my brother. Even though my parents had to take care of my older brother during school both of them still graduated and my mom went to college and graduated from their to.

They could have just put my brother in a foster home but they decided to take care of so he can have a family and a home. I have been inspired by them because I realized that no matter how hard things get you have to keep working hard. You have to keep working hard because in the end everything will work out.
2)Their are a lot of ways that leaders can encourage others. One way is to set a good example for them so that they can learn from it. They can also encourage others by motivating them to keep going. If you motivate others to keep going then they will believe in their selves and accomplish things.
3)If I was elected president my first order of business would be about cancer. I think it would be something to cure cancer because a lot of people have died from cancer and it has to stop. I would also do it because my mom has ear cancer and she is always in pain.
4)I think that best people should run for public office because we need the best people to run the united states. I believe that we don't have the best candidates because I think that there are more people who can run for public office but they let fear control them. Also if we don't have the best people running for public office then it will be bad because we don't want people who have no clue what they are doing to run the united states.

It can have an affect to some people because what if in school they don't have the right materials to do an assignment then they will get bad grades and they wont succeed. A leader that has inspired greatness in kids are bands through out their music and meanings of songs.A great example are band singers they have the right voice for any song and all band members helping make the song bring happiness to all kids or band obsessed people suck as rockers metal heads emos and regular kids the bands have helped out kids out of depression sadness and even anger and suicidal thoughts.People are inspired because of lots of reasons like they like the music songs band members or how the band helps out a lot.i have been inspired from band members and their songs and have kept a smile on my face and helped me a lot through out my problems.
