- Watch video and take notes: HOW TO GIVE AN AWESOME PRESENTATION
- Summarize the video in your own words. [3-5 sentences]

1. What the video states is how to create a power point that can tell your story the way you want it . The video also clarify's what a boring presentation is and what is needed to make it more interesting. To make a presentation is to not put too much information because it will make your readers less interest. They will focus more on the slides than your own words.
ReplyDelete2.
-Simply state something
-Tell your story that links points.
-stay outside the box
-Less is more
-Limit each slide to one idea

We need to also have some kind of structure from beginning to end. Try to limit each slide to one key point. Add something visual so it could be more understandable. Also rehearse on what you are going to say, or write/type it somewhere where only you can see. That is what the video basically summarized.
ReplyDelete3. - Focus on the story you want to tell
- Have a focused structure in the beginning, middle and end
- Less is more
- Limit each slide to one key idea

2. You need to focus on the story you tell with a clear beginning, middle, and end. You need to remember less is more. Try to limit each slide to one key idea. Try to support your idea with photos, graphs, or quotes. People can't read your slide until they listen at the same time.

2) The video in my own words means that you have to follow simple instructions and try not to make the power point so boring by having the same thing on every slide. Try to make every slide different and when you present just give the main point about the slide because if you talk about the whole thing, then you will bore the audience. Before you present you have practice what you will be saying and practice to make your presentation better.
ReplyDelete3) Some key points that I would take away from the video are
